Aviation radio receiver “RPS” has been produced since 1956. It was intended to receive telegraph and telephone signals on transport aircraft or in ground communication installations independently, complete with a transmitter or with an aircraft intercom.
Band of received frequency: 143-600 kHz, 2-24 MHz.
The sensitivity of the HF: AM 4mkV, SW 1.5 uV.
Bandwidth: 13.5 kHz, 11 kHz, 5 kHz, 3 kHz, 0.5 kHz.
The receiver is powered by a mains voltage of 115 VAC at a frequency of 400 Hz.
Power consumption 70 watts.
Dimensions: 508 x 327 x 303 mm.
Weight with rectifier: 26.5 kg.
Receiver is assembled on superheterodyne circuit 11 lamps.
The structure included a receiver, rectifier and MA-100M converter. The RP provides: adjustment of the input circuit, protection of the input, protection of power circuits and SPU from UHF interference, manual and automatic sensitivity adjustment, volume control, TLG tone control, quartz filter with adjustable band.
